Golfbaanzoeker provides an independent guide to golf courses in the Netherlands via golfbaanzoeker.nl. These terms of use apply to anyone who visits or uses the site.

What Golfbaanzoeker is — and is not

Golfbaanzoeker is an information guide: we collect and show data about golf courses, such as location, green fees, playing requirements and facilities, so you can find a course where you may and want to play.

Golfbaanzoeker is explicitly not a booking system. We do not accept bookings, process payments for tee times, or confirm reservations. When you click “book tee time” or a similar button, we send you on to the club itself or to an external tee-time platform such as GOLFGO or Greenfee365. From that point their terms apply, not ours — the booking, the payment and any cancellation happen outside Golfbaanzoeker.

Accuracy of the data

We do our best to keep green fees, playing requirements and other club data up to date, but they can be outdated or incorrect. Every price shows the date we last checked it; if that date is missing, we have taken over the price but not yet verified it ourselves. If in doubt, check the price and playing requirements with the club itself — the club is, and remains, the authoritative source, not our website.

We work carefully, but cannot guarantee that all information is correct at every moment. We are not liable for damage arising from relying on data that later turned out to be outdated or incorrect. Spotted an error? Let us know via the contact address above and we will correct it.

Accounts

Some features — favourites, tracking rounds played, price alerts and writing reviews — require an account. You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for everything that happens through your account. Do not share your account with others.

In case of misuse — for example fake reviews, circumventing these terms, or disrupting the site — we can restrict or close an account.

Reviews

You write a review based on your own experience. No insults, no deliberate falsehoods, and no personal data about others (such as names of fellow players or staff) in your text. Your name is shown with your review.

You keep the rights to your own text, but by posting it you grant us a licence to show that review on the site, on the relevant club page and possibly in overviews. We can hide or remove a review that does not meet these terms; that happens through moderation in our admin panel, not automatically.

Club portal

Clubs can claim their profile and, once approved, manage their own green fees, membership information, facilities and other data. The club is responsible for the accuracy of what it enters there; we do not check the content in advance.

Affiliate and transparency

If you click through our site to a booking platform or a club and book there, we may receive a commission for that. It costs you nothing extra.

A paid placement never affects the organic ranking of golf courses in our search results. If a listing is sponsored, that is clearly labelled.

Intellectual property

The texts, the compilation of data and the design of this website belong to us or our licensors; you may not reuse them for commercial purposes without permission.

Location data is based in part on OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors), available under the Open Database License. If you reuse that data, attribute OpenStreetMap as the source.

Changes, governing law and disputes

We can amend these terms, for example if the site changes or the law requires it. The date at the top of this page shows when that last happened; if you use the site afterwards, the new terms apply.

These terms are governed by Dutch law. If we cannot resolve a dispute together, the competent Dutch court will settle it.
